College Attainment Advocacy Day
Renamed to reflect our increased commitment to postsecondary student success, MCAN’s ninth annual advocacy event will take place on March 5 at the Phoenix Building in Lansing. Registration details will be announced soon.
During last year's event, over 160 people from across the state attended 110 meetings with legislators throughout the day to rally around postsecondary access and attainment in support of Sixty by 30, in addition to other key priorities. They represented all 38 Senate districts and 91 House districts.
College Attainment Advocacy Day is the result of a collaboration among MCAN, Michigan Association for College Admission Counseling, Michigan Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, Michigan College Access Program Personnel, Michigan Promise Zones Association, and Michigan Student Financial Aid Association.
